The "Someday" Trap

Title: Waiting for the Perfect Moment

We all have a mental list labeled "Someday." Someday I will write that book. Someday I will learn guitar. Someday I will travel to the mountains. We treat our dreams like expensive wine, saving them for a special occasion.

But life does not guarantee "Someday." Life only guarantees "Today." The perfect conditions you are waiting for—more money, more time, less stress—will never arrive. There will always be a new problem to solve.

If you want to do something, start poorly. Start with five minutes a day. Start with no money. The bridge between reality and dreams is action, not waiting. The graveyard is filled with people who had great "Someday" plans. Do not let your dreams die with you. Make "Someday" today.

Author's Note

Procrastination is the arrogance of believing that the future belongs to us. It does not. Act now, even if the action is small.
